Parents can change their costume due to COVID-19 school rules ban in Florida

By Nathan Hale (January 19, 2022, 3:35 PM EST) – A federal judge in Florida on Wednesday granted a request by a group of parents of school children with disabilities to amend their lawsuit challenging state restrictions on local school board measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.

In a paperless order released to the docket Wednesday morning, U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore noted that while he ruled the families were unlikely to succeed on the merits when he previously denied their motion to preliminary injunction, he had never actually dismissed his initial complaint.
